Chairman and Founder
U Zaw Win Shein is the Founder and Chairman of Ayeyar Hinthar Holdings Co.,Ltd, a leading diversified business group in Myanmar focused on agribusiness and trading, banking and financial services, healthcare, property development and real estate.
After leaving school at the age of sixteen, U Zaw Win Shein entered the family business to work closely with his father and develop commercial expertise and skills in the rice sector. In 2002, he formed a partnership with business associates to start a construction business and aluminium fabrication business. He subsequently established Ayeyar Hinthar Trading Co., Ltd with a close friend. Within a few years, this company became one of the largest exporters of rice in Myanmar. He later re-organized all his business interests into Ayeyar Hinthar Holdings.Co Ltd. In 2009, with a Partner, he established Victoria Hospital in Yangon, now one of the leading hospitals in Myanmar. Since then the Group has continued to grow and diversify establishing a public company in 2013 to develop new Industrial City in Pathein, Ayeyawarddy Region and the founding of a public company in 2015 to establish a new retail bank branded as “A Bank”.
U Zaw Win Shein continues to provide strong and strategic leadership to the Group whilst being actively engaged in promoting the wider economic development of the Union of Myanmar.
Executive Vice Chairman and Co-Founder
U Ne Ne Hlwam Moe is the Executive Vice Chairman and Co-Founder of the Ayeyar Hinthar Group. A close business associate of the Chairman, he plays an instrumental role in all major new business initiatives, heading the Group’s Major Projects development team. His operational responsibilities include leading two of the larger Divisions of the Group – Real Estate and Infrastructure.
Executive Vice Chairman
Executive Vice Chairman U R Yudh is an experienced banker having held senior positions with the Myanmar Economic Bank – Myanmar’s largest state-owned bank. With more than two decades of experience in trading businesses, especially in the rice industry, he played a vital role in developing Ayeyar Hinthar Trading into one of the foremost trading houses in Myanmar today. He leads A-Bank’s corporate banking unit and oversees financial controls within the Group.
U R Yudh also serves as the Vice Chairman of Myanmar Rice Federation.
U Myint Naing Win is the Managing Director of the Agribusiness and Trading Division, managing all the trading companies of the Group. In addition to his long experience in this sector in Myanmar, he has extensive knowledge of international trading businesses as well, having successfully founded trading companies in Singapore.
Group Chief Financial Officer
Latt Latt is the Group Chief Financial Officer of Ayeyar Hinthar Holdings Co.,Ltd. and its subsidiaries and has been with the Group since February 2017. She has more than 15 years experience in auditing and in commerce. She worked for seven years with leading professional firms before taking up posts as Financial Advisor, Group Accountant in SGX listed companies and Company Secretary in private companies in both Singapore and Myanmar. She holds a Bachelor degree of Applied Accounting from the Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom. She is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and also a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants from United Kingdom.
Group Corporate Finance Director
U Yan Naung Lynn is the Group’s Corporate Finance Director responsible for corporate finance related activities for the group including but not limited to fundraising, financial and cash flow management, Joint Ventures, Mergers and acquisitions, and financial restructuring of subsidiaries under Ayeyar Hinthar Group. Mr. Lynn was educated in the United States and had worked in New York City for a number of years at renowned Wall Street Investment Banks – Citigroup and Bank of Montreal Capital Markets in the areas of Securities Trading including U.S. Government Treasuries, Repo and Reverse Repo, High Yield Bonds, and Credit Default Swaps. Upon his return to Myanmar, he had worked with Myanmar-focused foreign investment companies and spearheaded local investment teams for a few years in the areas of private equity. In total, he has more than 10 years of experience in the financial industry. He also sits on the International Advisory Board of APQ Partners, UK listed Emerging Markets focused investment holding company. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Eckerd College, United States and Masters of Science in Finance from London Business School, United Kingdom.
